Dear Friends, Clients, and Colleagues:
Death, taxes and change are the only certainties. We are not dying, taxes are not due, but change is in the wind. After nearly fifteen years of operating Just The Basics, I am taking some time off. Linda S. Gravett, Ph.D. will assume the operations of Just The Basics, as President & CEO effective immediately. What a great time we have had! Thank you for your support of Just The Basics, whether you are new to us or have been with us for years!

And We'd Like You to Meet our New President and CEO ̶
Linda S. Gravett, Ph.D., SPHR, CEQC
Dr. Gravett is a business advisor who has partnered with Kentucky organizations such as Perfetti Van Melle, Kenton County Airport Board, and Car-Part.com over the past 18 years, helping them through periods of growth and change. She advises leaders on how to manage people to achieve strong business results.
In addition to her new role at Just The Basics®, Linda is the founder and senior partner of Gravett and Associates, an Ohio consulting firm headquartered in Cincinnati. Her focus there is also on coaching leaders to maximize their organizations potential by bringing in the right people and establishing effective Human Resource Management policies and work processes.
Linda has shared Human Resource Management best practices by teaching part-time at the university level since 1994. Currently, she teaches Strategic Human Resource Management in the Executive MBA Program at Xavier University and is also the founder and faculty member of their Senior HR Management Certificate Program. She often tailors the courses she teaches for her client companies, bringing them in-house for small groups.
Linda has an educational background that serves her clients well. She uses her Ph.D. in Industrial Psychology to help leaders understand themselves and their employees. She uses her MA in Labor and Employment Relations to help leaders understand labor and employment relations laws. Lastly, she uses her Bachelors in Accounting as a foundation for understanding her clients financial operations so she can make recommendations that make sound business sense.

*Terri Bonar-Stewart is the founder of Just The Basics®. She started the firm in 1994, after
having spent twenty years in executive and human resource positions with mid-sized to Fortune 100 companies. She is a communi-cations graduate of Northern Kentucky University, as well as a graduate of Leadership Northern Kentucky and co-president of the class of 1997. She taught at Northern Kentucky University as an Adjunct Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and has also been an instructor at Gateway Community and Technical College, and Xavier University. Her community activities included Board service for the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, Northern Kentucky Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), Forward Quest, the Metropolitan Club and the Urban Learning Center. She also served as president of Northern Kentucky Society of Human Resource Management, and on the Kentucky Governors Commission on Small Business and as the facilitator of a one million dollar scholarship campaign for the Urban Learning Center. Ms. Bonar-Stewart's passions fall into the categories of facilitating the growth of small business owners, non-profit directors, and women through education and communications.
